International Ambassadors

Last weekend the Club welcomed Diane and Alex from Canada into our midst as they enjoyed their first taste of Australian Rules Football.

Diane and Alex have been travelling the waterways of the world for the past 25 years and find themselves in Townsville for a short stay. Having seen the AFL on the TV in Canada they decided it was a opportunity they could not miss in Townsville.

The club has adopted them as International Ambassadors and they want to be part of the club whilst in town and if you get the chance to say hello, please do and make them feel very welcome. I have challenged them to come to training and learn some skills, so keep an eye out.
