2 out of 3 ain't bad, for a start .....

The Bulldogs travelled to Airlie Beach to compete in the Annual Pre Season competition. Despite the travel and the early start the day finished with two wins and a loss. Unfortunately the loss happened in the decider by 3 points to the Bakers Creek Tigers.

After two solid wins against the Eastern Swans (6 goals) and the North Mackay Saints (3 goals), Coach Ricky Sullivan was satisfied with the days effort. Ricky said "There were lots of positives to take from the day, but also lots of improvement still to be done which is exactly what we wanted from the competition. It was the first opportunity for most of the players to play together and great to get the first hit out of the year out of the way"

Better players over the day were: Cameron Andriske, Glenn Sypott, Josh Hollis and new recruit from Tassie, Blake Leonard.
